GSRP Associate Teacher
In our GSRP program, our responsibility is to guide our four-year-old children and give them the proper resources for Kindergarten. Here at Spark's Little Learners Academy, our philosophy is to provide a safe environment that will encourage a love for learning while producing a conducive atmosphere in which they can flourish.
We are looking for a team that will adhere to the center's philosophy with fresh teaching ideas and the desire to teach.

The GSRP Associate Teacher will work beside the Lead GSRP Teacher to create lesson plans, maintain the cleanliness of the classroom and observe the growth of children.
The responsibilities of The GSRP Associate Teacher are but are not limited to;

Keep children safe

Maintain the cleanliness of the classroom

Observe children (Record in COR Advantage)

Assist in creating meaningful lesson plans

Speak with parents at pick and drop off

Take the Lead if the Lead teacher is off in the classroom

Qualifications Include:

CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education Required; Or willingness to complete a compliance plan.

Experience working with children in a CDC or school setting is preferred.

Demonstrated competence as an educator.

Computer literate with excellent verbal and written expression.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Works well in a collaborative environment.

Lead Teacher

The lead teacher of Infants or our 3-year-old preschool classroom will be responsible for maintaining a classroom. This position will report to the Building Director and work closely with two teaching assistants.
Some of the Lead Teacher responsibilities are but are not limited to;

Creating lesson plans

Maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom

Monitor the safety of the students

Observe and create anecdotal notes on students

Works well with associate teachers
Lead Teachers should have a CDA (Child Development Associate) or ECE (Early Childhood Education) classes. At least 18 credit hours. Applicants can be pursuing a degree, or be enrolled in the CDA program.
